News from the Garden, Spring 2026

It’s hard to believe it’s Spring with this warm weather, and we are taking advantage of it in our garden!

In recent news, earlier this month we had the privilege of hosting students from the Alpha Zeta agricultural science fraternity. Their work as volunteers has been instrumental in getting us ready for the growing season, and we could not be more grateful. Supporting young people in agriculture is crucial for the world in which we find ourselves. Luckily for their communities, this group of young farmers, scientists, and leaders have bright futures ahead of them.

Our residents have been hard at work as well (with lots of laughs along the way). We’ve got flowers and blackberries blooming, leafy greens starting to stretch, strawberries ripening, radishes fattening, and so much more! Don’t miss our Spring market next Friday, May 1st, to get a sneak peak of what is already online and what is coming down the pike. Our CSA shares are still available for purchase; click here for more information on how to sign up. We would love to hear from you!

Stay cool and eat your greens.
